The 2010 King County Washington Women Lawyers Judicial Appreciation Luncheon will recognize UW School of Law alumni Chief Judge Robert Lasnik ’78, Judge Ricardo Martinez ’80, and Chief Judge Marywave Van Deren '82 and Professor Jackie McMurtrie.
The luncheon, which will be held on Wednesday, June 23, honors Washington’s judges and those who advocate for women and minorities. Lansik will be receiving the Betty B. Fletcher Judge of the Year Award, while Martinez will be receiving the President’s award. Professor McMurtrie of the Innocence Project Northwest will be receiving the Friend of the Judiciary Award.
