UW Provost Announces Law Dean Candidates
The Office of the Provost has announced four finalists for the Dean of the UW School of Law.
Faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend the public presentations by each candidate.
In addition, each candidate will meet with a number of campus organizations and campus leaders over the course of their campus visits.
The finalists and their scheduled public presentations are:
- Jim Chen (Dean and Professor of Law, Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, University of Louisville), 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 13
- Lawrence Gostin (Associate Dean and Linda D. and Timothy J. O'Neill Professor of Global Health Law, Georgetown University Law Center), 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, January 15
- Patricia White (Jack Brown Professor of Law and Dean Emeritus, Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, Arizona State University), 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 21
- Kellye Testy (Dean and Professor of Law, Seattle University) 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday, January 23
Each forum will be held at the law school on the University of Washington campus William H. Gates Hall, Room 133.
