SEATTLE - US News and World Report has ranked the UW School of Law a top 10 public law school in the magazine's annual which looks at America's best graduate schools.
The UW School of Law was ranked 30 among all U.S. law schools in the report, America's Best Graduate Schools 2009.
USNWR also ranked the UW School of Law fourth in the nation for student to faculty ratio and reported a 97.2% employment rate and 87.6% bar passage rate for UW law school 2007 graduates.
Established in 1899 and accredited by the American Bar Association since 1924, the UW School of Law is located in William H. Gates Hall on the Seattle campus. The law school has 66 full-time faculty members, over 500 J.D. students and 135 graduate students.
It is home to top ranked graduate programs in intellectual property, environmental law, tax law, and international law, as well as the William H. Gates Public Service Law Program.
