Law Professor Lombardi Elected to Council on Foreign Relations
SEATTLE - Law professor Clark Lombardi has been elected to the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), an independent, nonpartisan foreign policy membership organization in New York City. CFR has been called a powerful agent of U.S. foreign policy and publishes the bi-monthly journal Foreign Affairs.
Professor Lombardi, who joined the UW law school faculty in 2004, teaches constitutional law, comparative law, and development law. He has a special expertise in Islamic legal systems and studies how the establishment of particular judicial and administrative institutions impact legal development. Professor Lombardi is a 2006-08 Carnegie Scholar.
