UW School of Law dean joins commission to review King County election process
Seattle – Dean Joe Knight Jr. was appointed to an independent commission of legal experts, business leaders and election professionals, which will examine King County’s election process and recommend improvements. The commission will be chaired by Cheryl Scott, the retired president and CEO of Group Health Cooperative. Members were appointed by King County Executive Ron
Sims and include Rev. Stephen Sundborg, president of Seattle University, Dr. Philip Eaton, president of Seattle Pacific University and Patricia Aiken, Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services mediator and former Superior Court judge.
