PRESENTERS:
Theodore J. Angelis joined the Seattle office of Preston Gates & Ellis LLP in the fall of 2000 after completing a judicial clerkship. He is developing a practice focused primarily on complex civil litigation, appellate matters, constitutional law, intellectual property, and land use and development.
Charles A. Harwood has been the Director of the Federal Trade Commission's Northwest Region since June 1989. In 1989, Mr. Harwood worked briefly in the office of the FTC Chairman. Before joining the staff of the FTC, Mr. Harwood served from 1983 until 1989 as a counsel to the U.S. Senate’s Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation.
Karrin Klotz is an adjunct professor at Seattle University Law School and a lecturer at the University of Washington School of Business Administration, specializing in business law and intellectual property law issues. After completing a judicial clerkship at the federal court level, she served as a litigator on complex business litigation issues with Pillsbury, Madison and Sutro (now Pillsbury Winthrop), as corporate counsel for Microsoft Corporation, and as Associate General Counsel for Wall Data Inc.
