Intellectual Property Law and Policy Graduate Program
CAREER PLANNING

The Law School Career Planning & Public Service Center, open daily, is located in Room 346 of Gates Hall. The Center serves as a focal point for students' career planning and employment research. Assistance is available through individual counseling, workshops and symposia. The Center regularly hosts fall and spring on-campus interview programs and solicits legal employers to recruit students through off-campus programs. To remain informed about the numerous Center-sponsored activities and functions as well as job announcements, students read the Crier, the Law School's weekly newsletter. In addition the Center publishes an attorney job newsletter, The Green Sheet, which lists local attorney positions as well as positions nationwide and internationally.

The Center's staff includes a LL.M. program coordinator to counsel students in and graduates of the post-J.D. programs. The program coordinator also collects resources, develops programs and contacts potential employers of particular interest to the LL.M. students. Law school applicants and admittees are welcome to contact the Career Planning & Public Service Center at (206) 543-9097 or by e-mail at careerps@u.washington.edu. Additional information about the services offered through the Career Planning & Public Service Center is available at http://www.law.washington.edu/career/.
