Advisory Board

The Gates Public Service Law Program has an Advisory Board created to support the Program. The Advisory Board is appointed to approve budgets and material policy decisions regarding the conduct of the Gates PSL Program. The Dean serves as an ex-officio, non-voting member of the Advisory Board and appoints four of the six members. The Advisory Board appointments may include a member of the faculty of the UW School of Law, a student who is either a member of the Public Interest Law Association or a graduate of the Program after the first cohort of scholars has graduated, as well as others chosen at the Dean’s discretion. In addition, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation may appoint one member to the Advisory Board.
