Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Washington School of Law!
We are excited to include our new program, Foundations for Legal Study, in our JD student
class of 2012 orientation. Foundations for Legal Study will introduce the study of law
and provide practice of the tools you need to be a successful law student at the
University of Washington School of Law.
In order to provide you this all important "jump start" to your career as a law student, the combined
orientation and Foundations for Legal Study program will begin two weeks before the
start of regular classes in autumn. As part of the curriculum at the law school, attendance is mandatory.
All communication regarding registration and orientation will be communicated either on this
website and/or via email, so please keep us informed of your current email address by sending your
information to Academic Services at .
