Environmental Law at the UW
Environmental Law Faculty
The School of Law has a proud history of having one of the most prolific and influential environmental law faculties in the Nation. Our Environmental Law Program faculty’s research, scholarship and work on behalf of clients have helped shape public policy at the local, state national and international levels. Environmental Law Program faculty include:
- William H. Rodgers, Jr.
- Craig Allen
- William Andersen
- Robert Anderson
- Gregory Hicks
- Michael Robinson-Dorn
- Ron Whitener
The School of Law also enjoys close relations with many alumni and practitioners in the field. Attorneys from federal and state agencies, tribes, public interest and private law firms regularly visit our classes to enhance our students’ learning. Additionally, faculty and researchers from other departments of the University of Washington contribute significantly toward much of the scientific study and policy debate that ultimately prompts change in environmental law.
