Darcy Roennfeldt is an Associate Director for Advancement at the UW School of Law. Her focus is on cultivating and developing relationships with law school alumni and non-alumni who recognize the important contribution the Law School adds to the legal and business community. She practiced law for over seventeen years in the area of business planning, estate planning, charitable planning, probate, and trust and estate litigation. Over the course of her legal career, she was a partner at two major law firms in downtown Seattle. She was a frequent speaker at WSBA continuing legal education seminars and published frequently on topics related to her areas of practice. She was editor of the most recent King County Probate Policies and Procedures Manual, which is used as a guideline for the practice of trust and estate law in King County.
Prior to attending law school, Darcy was a stockbroker and regional sales manager for a West Coast brokerage firm where her responsibilities included the compliance and management of over sixty brokers. Whether serving as a financial advisor, lawyer or advancement officer, her commitment is to building trusting relationships where the client or donor is the center of the relationship.
Darcy holds a J.D. from Seattle University School of Law and two certificates from the UW Literary Fiction Writing course. She was selected as the alumni student speaker for the 2013 UW Professional and Continuing Education graduation.
Darcy is an equestrian, writer, and world traveler with a passion for the natural world.
