Secretary Senior for the Graduate Program in Taxation, Micah Wyatt came to the UW School of Law in 2013. Micah has been working in and practicing estate planning and transactional law in Wyoming since graduating with a J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2009, and he is now excited to be working with the Graduate Program in Taxation.
Prior to moving to Washington State, Micah enjoyed two years on the Board of Directors of a local community theater program, acted in more than his fair share of community productions and a mixed-media comedy show, "Late Nite Shenanigans." Micah, a guitarist and vocalist, played in a Celtic band, a bluegrass band, and wrote, recorded, produced and self-marketed two solo releases as "the barefoot band." He also ran a one-man musical production company booking Punk and Americana shows at local venues. Micah also holds an M.F.A. in Writing from Goddard College in Vermont and spends his "free" time writing speculative fiction and comedy sketches.
Micah still plays as a solo act in the Pacific Northwest -- you might catch him late-night singing in any number of interesting places. He also loves camping and hiking, playing soccer, thrift stores, and writing autobiographical paragraphs (nudge nudge wink wink).
