Scott L. David
Scott David has joined UW Law as the Executive Director of our Law, Technology & Arts Group, effective June 1. Scott's practice focuses on intellectual property and technology counseling and transactions, and he has become a leading expert in these areas nationally and internationally. Scott has been a partner at K&L Gates (formerly Preston, Gates & Ellis) since 1992. Prior to joining K&L Gates, he was an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York.
Scott's involvement in the law, technology, and arts arena is impressive. He has been active in the World Economic Forum (Davos), Identity Commons, ABA Cyberspace Committee, and Dorkbot (technology/arts organization) among other activities. He has also served as an external board member of our Law, Technology and Arts Journal since 2008.
Adding Scott to our team allows LTA to undertake new initiatives, form new partnerships, and build on the many current successful LTA programs to advance UW Law as a national and global leader at the intersection of law and technology.
