LAW E558 Voting Rights Research and the Law

This course will address two primary topics related to the Voting Rights Act of 1965, Sections 2 and 5, and their application today: (1) redistricting and minority representation; and (2) the protection or suppression of the right to vote. Course will also include introductory research methods for assessing expert report evidence and findings.
