LAW B587 Lawyers, the Legal System and Professionalism

This course examines leadership principles with particular attention on the ways in which lawyers are perceived as and function as leaders in society. The course will examine leadership styles, power structures and power imbalances, ethical concerns, race and gender concerns, emotional intelligence, management principles, and more. This course will satisfy the externship seminar requirement when taken during the same quarter as the externship. Offered on a credit/no credit basis only.
