LAW P550 Patent Prosecution

This course will address the fundamentals of patent application drafting, through a combination of lectures and assignments. The course will address all aspects of preceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, including preparing new applications, amendments and examiner interviews. An engineering or science background is recommended. Prerequisite: LAW P501 Intellectual Property Law Core or LAW E567 Survey of Intellectual Property.
