LAW P504 Economic Analysis Of Intellectual Property
Credits: 2-3, Variable
This course will introduce students to the intersection between intellectual property law and economics from both a macro and micro-economic perspective. Topics range from the economic justification of intellectual property law to intellectual property portfolio management tools that can evaluate intellectual property protection as an investment. Grading will be based on a mixture of final examination, student participation and/or quizzes. Prerequisites: P501 Intellectual Property Law Core or E567 Survey of Intellectual Property. A prior economics course is recommended.
