LAW E551 Law and Entrepreneurship
Credits: 3-4, Variable
Course covers law and policy of four basic types of entrepreneurship: microenterprise; tech start-ups; corporate and university spin-offs; and social venture nonprofits. For each, we analyze the statutes, regulations, and standard transactions involved in forming and building the venture. Students will research and draft documents, forms, and/or policy recommendations.
