LAW A519 Transmission Of Wealth

Credits: 5


A survey of the law governing the transmission of individual wealth. Primary emphasis will be on the law of wills and intestate succession, but consideration will also be given to common will substitutes such as life insurance, joint tenancy, multiparty bank accounts, and trusts. Some consideration may be given to trust administration, federal estate tax, and the law of future interests.
