LAW A521 Community Property

An examination of all aspects of community property, including what constitutes community property as distinguished from separate property, how it may be acquired, managed, encumbered, and disposed of, and the problems of conflict of laws encountered in transactions with common-law jurisdictions. The course compares Washington law with the law of the other community property states.
