Information for Clients
I'll never forget my client's face after the Immigration Judge granted her asylum, despite quite a contested hearing. I cannot think of other experiences in law school that allow you to get this deeply involved in a client's case, follow it through the evidence gathering and pleadings phases, and then litigate it in open court. The outcome is not just life-changing for the client, but also for those of us who were fortunate enough to get a glimpse into her world and represent her.

Students in the Immigration Law Clinic represent individuals in removal (known as deportation) proceedings and also work on certain other types of cases. If you are already a client of the Immigration Law Clinic, please contact the Clinic Director at (206) 957-8634.
The Immigration Law Clinic does not take cases directly. All of its cases are screened and referred to the Clinic by the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP). If you are not already a client of the Immigration Law Clinic, you must first contact NWIRP before speaking with the Clinic Director or Clinic students. To contact NWIRP, please call (206) 587-4009.
