Professional Development at UW Law

UW Law encourages law students and alumni to explore the variety of professional development resources, events and support that we have to offer. With five attorney coaches on staff, we provide comprehensive professional development assistance to students seeking to advance their legal careers in a wide range of opportunities within the public, private and non-profit sectors.

The Center for Professional & Leadership Development

The Center for Professional and Leadership Development (CPLD) provides specialized professional development coaching for students seeking careers in private law firms, the corporate sector, government agencies and judicial clerkships.

The Center for Public Service Law

The Center for Public Service Law (CPSL) provides specialized professional development coaching for students seeking careers in non-profit organizations, whether domestic or international, public interest private firms, government agencies and judicial clerkships. We also coach law students seeking nontraditional careers in the public service sector.
