Job announcements for students are available online on Symplicity. Students may request passwords from the Career Planning Center by visiting the office or sending a request to .

If you are NOT a UW Law student or graduate, to purchase a subscription to our on-line job listings posted on Symplicity, you will need to become a subscriber. A Subscriber will be able to view jobs on the Symplicity. Applications to employers will have to be completed outside the system. The application features of simplicity are only available to University of Washington School of Law students and alumni.

To purchase a subscription mail a check for $120.00 for a one year subscription or $60 for a six month subscription, made out to UW School of Law, to the following address:

Along with your check, please include:

  1. your name
  2. your law school
  3. your year of graduation
  4. your home phone number and
  5. the email address where you would like to receive the password.

Payments must be received by the Career Planning before accounts are activated.

BYU Intercollegiate Job Bank

Jobs from other law schools are available through the Intercollegiate Job Bank maintained by BYU Law School. Contact careerps@u.washington.edu for the username and password.

Government Employment

Looking just at the numbers, the federal government is the largest single employer of lawyers in the country. Most entry level hires are done through agency Honors Programs.
