2L Diversity Fellowship Programs
Several law firms have diversity fellowship opportunities for 2Ls which are open to second-year students nationwide. These are paid fellowship
positions where students work as a summer associate at a firm following their 2L year.
Most firms also award fellows with a scholarship that will apply toward law
school tuition during their 3L year.
Who should apply?
Review each firm’s website for specific application criteria. You will have an opportunity to explain how you would meaningfully
contribute to the diversity of the legal community in the personal statement
included with your application.

When and how do I apply?
Follow the application instructions stated by each employer on their fellowship webpage. Application deadlines differ slightly from firm to firm, but are generally late August to early September before your 2L year.
