On-Campus Interviews

On-Campus Interviews (OCI) will be held at the University of Washington School of Law immediately after Labor Day on September 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10; October 2 & 3, 2008. Deadline to Register: Wednesday, May 7, 2008. On-Campus Interview Registration Instructions

Resume Collection

If you are unable to interview on campus, we are happy to coordinate Resume Collection for you. We encourage you to set a student application deadline no later than August 6, 2008 to be competitive with our on-campus employers. Submit requests by Wednesday, May 7, 2008. Job Announcements

Job announcements for student and attorney positions are accepted any time during the year. Submit your available position online at Symplicity or by e-mail attachment to careerps@u.washington.edu.

Off-Campus Career Fairs

The UW is one of 10 top public law schools participating in the National Law School Consortium. Interviews are held in Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Miami and Dallas during August & September. Information and registration is available at www.law.arizona.edu/Career/nlsc/. Deadline to register is Thursday, May 15.

Important Dates for 2008

March 12, 2008 – Fall Recruiting Registration for Employers is open on Symplicity

May 7, 2008 – Deadline to Register for Participation in Fall Recruiting (OCI). Registration materials and fees must be received in the Career Center by this date.

July 28, 2008 – Student Materials Available in Symplicity for Employer Review and Pre-Selection. Application materials are viewable on Symplicity and may be downloaded into a PDF file. (Employers pre-select 80% of the candidates to be interviewed, Symplicity lotteries 20%.)

August 13, 2008 – Deadline for Employers to Submit Pre-Selections on Symplicity

August 20, 2008 – On-Campus Interview Schedules Published on Symplicity. Schedules published to employers and students on this date.

Callback Dates
No specific dates are set, however employers who conduct interviews in September are encouraged to schedule callback interviews prior to September 22, the first day of fall quarter.
