Professional Mediation Skills Training Program

This basic skills training course will locate mediation among the array of dispute resolution processes, and examine the differences between facilitative and evaluative mediation. Participants will learn a step-by-step process to assist parties in conflict to find mutually agreeable solutions. 36 CLE Credits are approved (includes 2.0 Ethics Credits).

This session, we will work on revising your resume, creating your elevator speech, and the basics of using Symplicity. Please bring a resume that follows the guidelines from "Your Professional Legal Resume: Tip Sheet." If you have not received a copy of the tip sheet, please email cpld@uw.edu. All LL.M. students must attend both Part I and Part II (or watch the podcast, if unable to attend in person) before meeting with a CPLD career coach.
