The Gallagher Law Library’s East Asian Law Department at the University of Washington is one of the premier repositories for legal materials for Japan, China, South Korea and Taiwan in the United States. The East Asian Law collection began in the 1930’s and has grown to over 33,000 Asian language volumes.
