Enrollment Deposit
It is expected that all admitted students respond in a timely manner their intention to accept our
offer of admission. Admitted students are required to submit a confirmation deposit of $500 USD.
The deposit is nonrefundable, but will be applied to the student’s first quarter course fees.
Instructions, including the due date for submitting the deposit, will be mailed to the student
shortly after confirming their intention to enroll in the program.
Orientation
In the beginning
of the summer, we will send you information via email about the mandatory
orientation program for all incoming LL.M. students. Orientation takes place the
week before classes begin. The beginning of autumn quarter changes each year so
please check the calendar to confirm the actual start date.
During orientation week, you will be able to meet with program staff to discuss your plans
for the program including course selections.

Housing
Seattle is divided into numerous unique neighborhoods. Most University of Washington students prefer to live in neighborhoods such as the University District, Ravenna, Wallingford, or Capitol Hill for their proximity to the University. Health Services
The University operates the Hall Health Primary Care Center as a medical care facility for currently enrolled UW students and, on a fee-for-service basis, for their dependents. Services offered include primary care clinics and specialty clinics (Women’s, Sports Medicine, Mental Health, Pediatrics, Immunization, Travel Clinics and Counseling).
Childcare
The University of Washington has many childcare options available to UW students, most at additional cost.
Student Insurance Information
There is a Student Medical Plan available for students registered at the Seattle Campus, and for their eligible Dependents. The benefits are underwritten by United HealthCare Insurance Company and administered by Welfare and Pension Administration Service, Inc. (WPAS).

Expenses
Graduate tuition is due the 3rd Friday of every quarter.
