Giving Societies
Our alumni and friends demonstrate the significance of leadership giving and inspire
others to follow their example. UW School of Law has established giving societies
to recognize the variety of ways that our alumni and friends generously support
their law school in both annual giving and lifetime giving.
Lifetime Giving
Lifetime giving to the UW School of Law is recognized with deepest appreciation
in the annual report published in the UWLaw Alumni Magazine and permanently honored
on donor walls at the law school at the following cumulative outright, pledged,
and deferred giving levels:
John T. Condon Society
The Condon Society was founded in 1999 to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of
the UW School of Law. The Society is named in honor of John Thomas Condon, Washington
pioneer, Founder and first Dean of the UW School of Law. Founding Society Members,
Benefactor & Laureate Members are honored on the John T. Condon Society Donor

The Marian Gould Gallagher Society recognizes donors who have given $15,000 or
more to the UW School of Law Library. The Society is named in honor of Mrs.
Marian Gould Gallagher for her 37 year tenure as the Law Librarian and Professor
of Law. During her time the law library tripled in size and the outstanding
service ethic of its staff became legendary throughout the U.S. The Marian Gould
Gallagher Law Library and giving society carry on Mrs. G’s legacy. Society
Members are honored on the Marian Gould Gallagher Society Donor Wall in the Law
Library in William H. Gates Hall.
The Henry Suzzallo Society
The Henry Suzzallo Society honors individuals who have provided a testamentary or
planned gift to the UW School of Law. Membership in the Suzzallo Society is a way
for UW Law to thank and recognize donors now for their commitment to make a future
gift.
