2008 Alumni Awards Nomination Form
Thank you for your interest in and support of the UW Law School Alumni Association awards program. We encourage you to nominate all alumni who have distinguished themselves in the categories listed below. All deserving alumni who meet the awards criteria listed below are eligible regardless of what they do for a living or where they reside and work. We encourage you to nominate alumni who practice internationally for the extraordinary contributions they make.
All nominations will be considered by the Nominations Committee, who will recommend a slate of award nominees to the Law School Alumni Association Board of Directors. Nominations are good for three years.
The Law School Alumni Association has three alumni recognition awards for which you may nominate UW School of Law alumni:
Service Recognition Award - was created in 1973 by the Law School Alumni Association Board of Trustees as a means of recognizing alumni for contributing actively toward the welfare of the Law School and its students for some length of time or in some significant manner.
Distinguished Alumni Award - has been given since 1979 to recognize alumni who have demonstrated a record of civic, professional, and community service.
Henry M. Jackson Distinguished Alumni Public Service Award - created 1997 to honor those alumni who have shown evidence of stature or significant advancement in the area of Public Service over a period of years since graduation from the UW School of Law and have demonstrated a continuity of interest in some form toward the University of Washington School of Law.
To nominate an individual, please complete the online form. While you may nominate more than one individual, please submit a separate form for each individual you are nominating. Please submit your nominations by January 15, 2008.
