Frequently Asked Questions
When is the latest LSAT I can take?
December is the latest acceptable LSAT to meet the Jan. 15 deadline. February LSAT scores come in after a majority of decisions have been made and may decrease your chance of acceptance.
How do you consider multiple LSAT scores?
We average multiple LSAT scores. Scores are valid for three years.
Where can I take a preparatory class for the LSAT?
The following is a list of Northwest-area LSAT Prep Courses. This list does not necessarily reflect endorsement by the University of Washington School of Law.
Am I required to register with LSDAS?
Yes, we require all undergraduate transcripts to be sent through LSDAS. We prefer that letters also come through that service, but they can be sent directly to us, though this may delay completion of your application. Foreign applicants should register for the JDCAS.
Is the December 1 LSDAS deadline a "hard" deadline?
No. This is a priority deadline to ensure that all materials have time to process through LSDAS. Law Services needs at least 2-3 weeks to process all transcripts and letters of recommendation. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that LSDAS has received all necessary materials to complete the LSDAS file. Each year a number of applicants are not considered because they have failed to complete their LSDAS files in timely manner. You are advised to confirm that your file is complete with Law Services.
