Academic Journals
Transfer students who will complete their final six quarters at the University of Washington School of Law are eligible to compete for admission to the Washington Law Review, the Pacific Rim Law & Policy Journal, and the Shidler Journal for Law, Commerce & Technology. Transfer student membership on these journals is determined through a write-on competition that takes place in June.
Transfer applicants interested in participating in the academic journal write-on competition should download a competition application packet.
Journals
Because the writing competition problem and materials are the same for all three journals, students interested in all journals can submit one application and one paper.
