Summer Application Procedures

The University of Washington School of Law accepts applications for Summer Quarter for students enrolled at other law schools.

NOTE: If you are NOT a law student, please follow the instructions on the UW Summer Quarter website.

The summer quarter application deadline is Monday, June 9, 2008. All required documents must be submitted by this date. To be considered for admission, applicants must comply with the following requirements:

  1. Complete the Summer quarter application
  2. Arrange for an academic dean at your law school to provide a letter which confirms:
    1. that by June 2008 you will have completed at least one year of law school;
    2. that you are in good standing and eligible to continue at your home law school;
    3. that you have permission to take courses at the University of Washington School of Law for credit.
    Admission will not be granted without this letter.
  3. Submit the $50 summer school application fee with your application, payable to the University of Washington.

Your application will not be acted on until all of these items are received by the admissions office.

International Students: Please note the University of Washington cannot provide an I-20 or give other assistance in obtaining a student visa for international non-degree students for summer quarter. If you plan to enroll at the UW for summer quarter only, you must be able to attend classes without an I-20 from the UW.
